The Wheel of Life
Directions:
When you consider these categories, you are looking to assess where you are in each one on a fulfillment scale of 0 to 10, 0 being the lowest, 10 being the highest. Remember, this is not a quantity game, but a quality game. This isn’t a test you need to pass — it’s part of awareness, allowing you to see the whole picture of your very dynamic life.
When you are ready to do the assessment, try not to overthink it. Just fill in a number rather quickly based on your first reaction to each category. At first pass, you may notice some guilt or resistance showing up. Don’t let the “shoulds” hit the fan. Resist thinking, “I should work out more,” or, “I should save more money”; try to block out all of the other similar should-a, could-a, would-a statements that aren’t really helpful. Set them aside and look at what your fulfillment wheel is actually telling you.
Remember, too, that if you rate something a 10, it doesn’t mean you don’t have any goals left with this category! If you feel genuinely fulfilled in a category, give it the 10.
No action required yet. However if you are inspired to work on something—whether it’s strengthen an already-high area, or work on something lower, choose something give you energy to begin.
Once you submit the form your entries will also be emailed to you.
